Marna Coffee

Literally the most amazing independent cafe! Coffee is the best and has ruined all the other coffee houses in Kingston for me. Their ham and cheese croissant is excellent. Also the staff were super friendly and told me all about where the coffee was from.

I’m obsessed with Marna! If you're looking for a cosy, independent coffee spot in Kingston upon Thames, this place is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm and welcoming vibe — the kind of place that invites you to stay awhile. It’s laid-back but stylish, with plenty of character and a real community feel. The staff are also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable — you can tell they truly care about their customers and coffee, perfectly balanced with beautiful latte art! The pastries and cakes are fresh and delicious, with some great vegan and gluten-free options too. (I definitely recommend the basque cheesecake!) Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a quiet, comfortable spot to enjoy your day, Marna is a must! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Delicious basque cheesecake, nice coffee, friendly staff. Went on a Saturday and it does get crowded and loud in the afternoon, but that’s expected and unavoidable. Otherwise cosy and clean space to work/read.

Marna just stopped me going to anybother coffee shop in Kingston. Delicious coffee, super friendly staff and the owner's positive energy changes the cofee and the time spent in Marna to a great experience. Only negative(!) is super delicious croissants and holy chocolate-hazelnut cake which makes me break my diet frequently.... One stop coffee shop in Kingston, no need to look other.

Great coffee, milk steamed at perfect temperature! The basque cheesecake is a must try! Staff are super friendly, the place is clean and aesthetically pleasing, inviting and chilled. Will be back for sure!!

A hidden gem in Kingston Upon Thames! Marna is a bright and welcoming store. It's full of light and makes for a great spot to read or study in the week and catch up with friends and family on the weekend. The team are very accommodating with trying to seat people and make space for people where they can. It can be really busy at times as it's quite popular! Their current food offering is a great selection of pastries (some of which they bake in store which is a real treat!). They have some savoury pastries too. They cater to vegan and gluten free diets too. Lots of great options. Currently, Marna is serving Assembly Coffee. A somewhat local roaster based in Brixton. They offer batch brew and pour over v60 as well as a stellar espresso drinks menu. There is lots of tea options and they serve the best matcha in town for sure! The team members are really knowledgeable and happy to help you find the perfect drink. They have a specials menu and I really recommend the salted caramel matcha. Be sure to grab a loyalty card and check out marna coffee next time you're in Kingston upon Thames.

Good coffee and pastries. But it would be much better to have a choice of coffees for the V60, not just Brasil, although that anaerobic coffee is very good. I'm back after six months and am glad to know there is a greater variety of coffee beans for the V60. And yes, the Basque cheesecake is delicious.

Such a lovely coffee shop! Lovely Assembly Coffee served here, and the baristas are great and very friendly. Our matcha lattes were the perfect texture. The shop is light and airy, stylishly decorated and there’s lots of tables for a specialty coffee shop. Their cake selection is varied, with gluten free and vegan options. The cheesecake is amazing!
